Yesterday, a group of students from Miss McCune’s 8th Grade Exploring College and Careers class had the opportunity to visit Cincinnati City Hall to explore real-world Career Pathways in public service.
These students met with a diverse group of city leaders who shared their unique educational journeys and career stories. They emphasized the importance of the career and personality assessments students complete in class, as well as the essential role that employability skills play in achieving success.
A special highlight of the day was a visit from Mayor Aftab Pureval, who sat down with the students to share his personal career path and answer their questions — a truly memorable experience.
