Teachers from Dillsboro Elementary School, Aurora Elementary School, and South Dearborn Middle School dedicated a week of their summer break to explore innovative STEM opportunities during Computer Science Professional Development Week (CSPDWeek).
This statewide, teacher-led professional development event focused on computer science, artificial intelligence, STEM, and data science education for Indiana educators. In partnership with the national Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), the Indiana CSTA Chapter, Nextech, and the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE), CSPDWeek brought together over 400 K–12 teachers from across Indiana. Educators of all experience levels participated in sessions tailored to their interests, covering both computer science content and effective teaching strategies.
Through this enriching experience, our teachers are equipped to bring fresh, engaging programs and ideas back to their classrooms for the benefit of our students.
