Dear Knight Families,

As we prepare to launch another exciting school year, I want to take a moment to share how truly honored I am to begin my second year as Superintendent of the South Dearborn Community School Corporation.

Last year was a time of learning, listening, and laying the foundation. This year, we build! We are moving forward together — YouKnighted — with a renewed focus on bringing our individual communities together into one shared identity rooted in excellence, unity, and purpose.

South Dearborn is more than just a school corporation — it’s a community where students grow, excel, and achieve. Whether you're from Aurora, Moores Hill, Dillsboro, Manchester, or beyond, We Are SD. We each bring unique traditions and strengths, and when we combine those under one banner — SDCSC — we become stronger, more focused, and better positioned to serve our students.

Our mission is clear: to be success-driven in all we do — in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, and in every hallway. Together, we will create environments where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their highest potential.

I am excited for what lies ahead this year — not just because of what we will accomplish, but because of how we will accomplish it: united in our commitment to each other, to our students, and to our community.
