Life at Moores Hill

Exciting. Engaging. Energizing. Educational. Just a few ways our students describe a typical day at Moores Hill Elementary. Students thrive in our small town, community-based culture located within a safe, secure and beautiful campus. It's within this setting that our experienced & dedicated teachers strive to cultivate a love of learning at an early age.

From an academic perspective, our school corporation recently had the highest ISTEP score increase compared to other area schools. This is just one indication of the commitment to academic achievement that you'll find at Moores Hill Elementary and throughout the entire South Dearborn Community School Corporation.

We believe that our parents and students deserve access to resources that will help them get the most of our their school experience. With that in mind, South Dearborn schools cover a portion of every student's textbook fees. We're happy to hear that you're interested in learning more about our school!

Review Our Testimonials

"We know our daugther would not be who she is without the support of Moores Hill School. This school is so important to our children. Our daughter feels her school is the best. In October 2011, our daughter was in a car accident. The entire staff including the teachers and principals were so supportive during her healing process. We are so thankful for them." - Moores Hill Elementary Family

"I, myself cannot say enough about the value of MHES in my community. Next year I will have four children in MHES. My children's friends are in MHES which probably brings the total of MHES students that I know to 20. I have nieces and nephews and all their friends, and my neighbors and their children and their friends, which might make the total around 50. The total is nothing compared to the staff's and administration's involvement ofthe student's lives at MHES. God Bless MHES and the SDCSC for help carrying the burden of educating the children of our community." - Moores Hill Elementary Parent
