Meet Our Team Monday: Mr. Eric Lows

Assistant Superintendent Eric Lows has spent the entirety of his teaching and administrative career serving the students of South Dearborn Community School Corporation. Mr. Lows graduated from South Dearborn High School and returned to begin his teaching career at South Dearborn immediately after graduating from college.

Mr. Lows attended Ball State University where he enjoyed a successful football career while pursuing a career in education. Many will remember him as head coach of the SDHS football team before embarking on his administrative career.

When asked what he loves about South Dearborn schools, Mr. Lows responded, "I genuinely love this area. I knew I wanted to come back here after college and give back to the place that made me who I am." He says he likes knowing that many of the educators who taught him during his student career at SDCSC are still teaching, and that some of the people he taught during his teaching career now have children who attend South Dearborn schools.

Mr. Lows is an avid outdoorsman. He loves to be outside, enjoying the great southern Indiana landscape by four-wheeling and fishing.
